Dearly Beloved in Christ,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are entering into a Lent Season. It is a season of spiritual preparation that comes before the most important Feast of the Christian year. This year Lent begins on February 20th. Lent should  be a time of repentance and transformation. Prayer, practices and giving are the traditional practices. Meditate the Word of God is the unavoidable factor. Our goal is to meet the risen Lord.

The purpose of fasting is to remind us of the Scriptural teaching, “Man does not live by bread alone.” The needs of the body are nothing compared to the needs of the soul. Above all else, we need God, Who provides everything for both the body and the soul. Fasting teaches us to depend on God more fully.

So Let us observe Lent and try to come close to our Savior Jesus Christ.

The Maramon Convention begins on February 12th Sunday, during the past decades; this great convention has been a source of divine inspiration for our church and the sister Churches to renew our Christian vision faith and commitment to do the ministry to the other people. Let us pray for the Convention.

May God Bless You.

Yours in His Christ,

Rev Benchamen George
